In the period 1974-1992, he was successively a financial controller and a deputy manager, with the Olt  Financial Territorial Inspector’s Office, within the Ministry of Finances.

From 1992 until 1993, general manager of Olt Public Finances General Direction.

Financial controller and respectively manager of Olt Subsequent Financial Control Direction, within the Romanian Court of Accounts.

Counselor of Accounts, appointed by the Parliament of Romania in 2008, for a three-year term of office.
