Graduate of specialization courses in the field of international taxation, organized by the OECD in Vienna, Budapest, Ankara and Paris. Graduate of the “International Accounting Standards and International Standards on Auditing” training programs, organized by “The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland” Edinburgh, Great Britain. Certified in E-Government – Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA.
Professor at „Spiru Haret” University of Bucharest, Faculty: Finances – Banks.
From 1980 until 1993, she was successively a financial inspector, general inspector and head of Privately Owned Economic Entities Control Office, within the Ministry for Public Finances – Bucharest State Financial Territorial Inspector’s Office.
Financial controller and subsequently head of office, with Bucharest Financial Control Direction of the Romanian Court of Accounts, from 1993 until 1997.
From 1997 until 2001, general manager – General Direction for Indirect Taxation Legislation and Deputy Secretary General – the Department for Tax Policy and Income Management, within the Ministry of Finances.
Parliamentary expert and respectively parliamentary advisor within the Chamber of Deputies – the Commission for Economic Policy, Reform and Privatization, in the period 2001 - 2005.
Secretary of State with the Ministry of Public Finances – Budget Department, from 2005 until 2008.
Counselor of Accounts was appointed by the Parliament of Romania in 2008 for a nine-year term of office.
Vice-president of the Romanian Court of Accounts, since 2008.
