Graduate of the Faculty of Law, Bucharest University.

From 1979 until 1990 he was a prosecutor within the local Prosecutor’s Office and The Prosecutor’s Office of Bucharest Municipality.

In the period 1990-1993 prosecutor with the Public Ministry, the Prosecutor’s Office near the Supreme Court of Justice.

Between 1993 and 2002, he was an inspector financial prosecutor and subsequently, financial prosecutor general of the Romanian Court of Accounts

From 2002 until 2008 he was Counselor of Accounts within the Jurisdictional Section of the Romanian Court of Accounts.

Counselor of Accounts, appointed by the Parliament of Romania in 2008 for a six-year mandate.  

Vice-president of the Romanian Court of Accounts since 2008.
