Degree in economics awarded by the  Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest, Faculty of Finances and Accounting.

Taxation inspector with the Taxes and Charges Department within Harghita Tax Authority, in the period 1982-1986.

Accounting expert with the Internal Financial Body within Suceava County Council, between 1986 and 1990.

Head of the Legal Entities Taxes and Charges Department within Suceava Tax Authority.

Financial controller, Subsequent Financial Control Section, within Suceava Chamber of Accounts from 1993 until 1997.

General Manager of  S.C. ANDIS COM IMPEX S.R.L. Suceava, in the period 1998 –2002.

General Manager of  S.C. GAMA Leasing S.A. Suceava – a Non-banking Financial Entity, from 2002 until 2004.    . 

From 2004 until 2008, an M.P. with the Chamber of Deputies, vice-leader of the National Liberal Party Parliamentary Group; member of the Commission for Budget, Finances and Banks; vice-president of the  Investigation Parliamentary Commission in charge with the examination of issues referring to the activity of the President of the Court of Accounts of Romania; member  of the Investigation Parliamentary Commission on the performance of a parliamentary control of the Romanian Television Company and of the Romanian Radio Company; member of the Bucharest – Chişinău Inter-parliamentary Commission; vice-president of the Lebanese Republic Friendship Parliamentary Group.

Counselor of  Accounts appointed by the Parliament of Romania in 2008,  for a three-year term of office.
